It's 7:15 on a Tuesday, and I'm *not* drunk. Fuck.

It's too early, and I've got too much work to do; I haven't even had dinner. -_-

I had a breakfast lean pocket at like 5:30 and was just like fuck it, and got the Bacardi out.

How is Bacardi compared to something like Blue Moon? You know that I know nothing about alcohols.

I'm drinking Oakheart, similar to Captain Morgan. Its spiced rum and shares no similarity to Blue Moon at all. Blue Moon is around 5.5% alcohol the Bacardi I'm drinking is 35% alcohol. Even tough I'm just taking pulls of it I wouldnt advise that you do that.

When you put it that way...

So there's different types of Bacardi? How many? I know nothing about Captain Morgan, why would you not advise trying the Oakheart?

Yeah, there is like 25 different types of bacardi. And you could probably have it in a mix with coke. I was just drinking it straight out of the bottle, which would probably be way to strong for you.

Oh. How strong is it compared to vodka or Jack Daniels?

Left M is one of best Ms of ever.

Its around the strength of vodka.

Okay then, I've had vodka with sprite, and that was delicious; so if I did the same with the Oakheart, then that'd also be delicious and better?

I've found Bacardi to be just as strong, but not as abrasive. It WILL get you drunk just like Vodka, but it won't feel as bad when it happens. The hangovers are generally not as bad either, I think. But everyone's body is different.
It's not as tasty as Jack Daniels, but is generally smoother than vodka.
Rum is classified generally into "dark" and "light" rums. Bacardi is more high class and Bacardi Gold is what I would recommend . They have a dark reserve, and that is the best. Unlike Vodka, you might find you enjoy the actual slight taste that Rum has (darker the rum, stronger the taste) enough that you don't want to just mix it with whatever.
Bacardi DOES make > 40% ABV alcohols, like Bacardi 151. That is what you can use for more thin mixes (since it will still have strong alcoholic presence) or for shots that burn a lot. This is also used for cooking with rum too, since it's so strong.
In other words, Drink Jack when you want to taste it. Drink Bacardi Gold when you want to mix it. Drink Smirnoff when you don't want any other flavors in your mix, or Svedka if you want to be dirt cheap.

Not with sprite. I'd go with coke or a related product, it mixes surprisingly well with RC Cola. But yeah, thats the way to go with spiced rum.

I have absolutely no idea what any of this means, but I will take your word on it. :)

Will do then. Anything else you'd recommend?

Dont drink Bacardi 151, thats all I can say on that matter. If you like fruity drinks go with UV Blue and Lemonade. Thats all I got right now.

Ooohhh, What kind of lean pocket?
Those are either fucking delicious, or fucking disgusting.

I had a bacon, egg, and cheese. It was pretty good.

Noice, I had some strange sausage egg and cheese one for breakfast.
I successfully thought I hadn't heated it enough on the first bite, and caused like 50th degree burns to my mouth on the second one.

Give dry ginger ale a go with spiced rum

Ask me if you need clarification. I may or may not have been a mild alcoholic through my first two years of college.
